Neverworld is a virtual world created by users for users. . It is a place where people can live and work in a 3D environment. The world has been growing continuously since its release 7 years ago.
The continent is a mixed use area for Neverworld grid members. If you are not a grid member, creating an account is fast. You can get started in 3 easy steps:
3) Log in and explore the continent with friends!
The Neverworld grid is an open source virtual world and metaverse that is free to use. The community is made up of people from all over the world who have a range of backgrounds and interests.
The Bountiful Continent in Neverworld is a growing continuous area. It currently comprises over 160 sims and water and it is still expanding. It has an integrated complex road system as well as navigable water all around. Most of the regions are themed, so anyone who obtains a parcel there may have to limit their builds to the theme of the region. If you are unsure please ask an admin or the group chat inworld.
With that being said, onto the fun stuff!
Current overview map of the continent.
You may want to consider using the airport if you need to get somewhere quick. If you require aircraft Troy Seaknight, the owner of Skybird Airport, would be happy to assist. There are some copyable aircraft in the airport.
This is a peaceful historic sim with lots of space and big parcels.
We are amazed how a blank space takes on a character. Here, Hazelwood is a mixed use sim, but has some amazing shops here already and worth the teleport over.
The sim below is really amazing. Scripted and created by Ares Halostar, Thundersnow is a themed Vampire RP region. Anyone can take a parcel here but be advised you may get bit, and you may need to bite back as vampires wander the sim. Theme is medieval/cottage. There are also weather systems. Much of the scripted items can be had for free in the castle shop.
After surviving Thundersnow, you may want to try to see if you can spend the night at Jade Bay next door. This swampy sim is covered with gloomy weather (rain, mist, clouds and thunder) and filled with abominations, ghoals, and zombie spiders. You can live here if you dare, just keep your builds shacks or simple and degraded, and suitable for zombie apocalypse survivors.
As you travel north from the vampires and zombies, you will start to come into some weather. The terrain is getting a bit hilly, and there is snow on the snow in spots! You are entering the northern sections now. Beautiful Clouddrift reminds me of my childhood trips to the mountains to ski. How about you? This area is still in development. We will be parceling for cabins and such. Stay tuned!
Last on our list today is our ski area Lost Notch. It has been completely redone and has three holiday shops: ski shop, apparel, and decorations. We have ice skating, a ski jump, a slalom run and a ski raft run. If you don't have skis pick them up here! Dress warm... it is always snowing in Lost Notch. We also have some parcels if you would like a cozy place for a home, a few bears, and a bonfire.
We covered only a fraction of the sims in the continent. Come join the fun!
We are looking for active, creative members as the continent is built by creators for creators!
I enjoy a non-elitist grid like Neverworld. It doesn't only present creations by those who make seamingly better versions of their real worlds, but also real fantasy creations that have never been found in this physical universe so far. It also provides traditional sharing values of Open SIm and allows for the sale of things too.
